Welcome to Bell Contracting, the specialised Contracting Division within the K W Bell Group. Our roots trace back to 1965 when our founder, Keith Bell, established a group of companies. Nestled in the heart of The Forest Of Dean, our headquarters is located in Cinderford.
With a history spanning over half a century, Bell Contracting’s journey began with Keith Bell’s humble beginnings as a solitary bricklayer. Over the ensuing decades, our services diversified, propelling us to the forefront of groundwork and civil engineering in the house building industry. In fact, we are proud to have earned a place in The Sunday Times Profit Track 2019 league table. As the longest-standing member of the KW Bell Group, Bell Contracting is not only a pioneer but also the largest, boasting an impressive annual turnover of approximately £50 million.
Our reach extends across the South West of England and South Wales, where we collaborate with a diverse client base, including five of the top ten house builders in the UK. Today, Bell Contracting is home to a workforce of nearly 500 highly skilled professionals, and our scale enables us to simultaneously manage up to 30 contracts.
Always investing in people and technology
Bell Contracting has been dedicated to a substantial investment totalling nearly £5 million, focusing on an exciting blend of cutting-edge technologies, innovative methodologies, and the UK’s first industry-led construction school. One of our notable investments includes, £1.4 million co investment into AccXel Construction School, and over £800,000 in state-of-the-art satellite 3D modelling excavator control systems.
