We began at the Green Acres development just as phase 2 was coming to an end, we finished 20 plots that had been started by a previous contractor. And then installed and completed the final 30 plots as well as starting phase 4 and 5 on a piece of land just to the north.
Phase’s 4 and 5 collectively had 234 houses which we have now completed including all infrastructure which consisted of approx. 3170 ms of road and 4755ms of utility trenches which fed the site with water, gas, electric and telecoms.
The installed roads also contain 101 foul manholes which start from around 900mm in depth and run down into a 6m deep pump station
There are also 117 surface water manholes which run into a 14225m3 swale system and then into 8000m3 pond all designed for flood prevention and excavated using our new high-tech GPS machine control and 3d modelling software.
Green Acres Phase 3 is due to start imminently with another 160 plots to build. When complete the development will also be home to a large sports facility with football and cricket pitches, there will also be a Medical centre, care home and shops.
The endless amounts of local amenities coupled with the ever-growing leisure and work opportunities has meant that the Persimmon Homes Green Acres development has had a fantastic sales record to date
